INTERNATIONAL EFFICIENCY LEVELS:

The international Standard IEC 60034-30-1;2014 is the common base for the designing and classifying of Electric motors.

The IE codes are increasing the level of harmonization in MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standard) all over the world

All over the world, each country decides what efficiency level of electromotors are allowed to be manufactured or imported and used in the country according to energy consumption laws.

The efficiency level of energy efficiency is measured with specific ie codes

IE1 = Standard Efficiency

IE2 = High Efficiency

IE3 = Premium Efficiency

IE4 = Super-Premium Efficiency

RAEL Ex-electric motors all have IE2 and IE3 standards, which can be ordered for you through our colleagues.
